PBT
The Isodur® PBT series of polyesters are semi-crystalline
thermoplastic resins
based on
*PBT polybutyleneterephthalate and blends or
*PET polyethylenetherephthalate or
*PBT/PC blends
They are characterized by high heat resistance and excellent
mechanical
properties, dimensional stability and chemical resistance combined
with easy
processing and fast cycle time.
Isodur~ Series are available as unreinforced, glass filled,
glas s/ .mineral filled,
flame retardant, impact modified, glass reinforced grades with
improved
surface appearance and as high impact PBT/PC blends.
To meet specific requirements, SGTM can develop tailor-made
products.
Isodur grades are highly suitable for electrical and electronic
components,
appliances and personal care products and wide range of mechanical
and
automotive components.
