SMA resin is the random copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride, mainly used as the compatibilizer of high molecular products such as alloy and blends like PC/ABS, PA6/ABS, PA6/PPO, PC/PS, PA6/PS, etc. to reduce the tension on the phase boundary and increase the inter-phase compatibility and adhesion. It can be used in composite materials such as AS/glass fiber, ABS/GF as compatibilizer.SMA resin can also be used as key additives, such as in dispersion, dope (ink, varnish, paint), gloss ointment (for floor protection) or treatment agent (textiles), etc. In many applications, in order to improve certain performances of SMA, it can be reinforced by preparing SMA alloy and glass fiber.
